About Us

The start of a builders journey:

Having worked in the oil and gas maintenance industry for several decades I decided to fulfill a long desired dream: Building a house with my son. In 2020 I left my international expat career, and in 2021 we embarked as a father and son adventure to renovate a dilapidated farm in Portugal. We started with renovating a large old farm house (quinta) in Enxames; the house was a complete ruin and it took us 3 years to do a complete restoration from the ground up. The final result was beautiful.

However we learned some valuable lessons about renovating and what it means to own one:

• Renovating takes a long time, and as builder and buyer this can be really dragging a project.
• Many unforseens happen and quality labour isn’t always nor constantly available.
• It is expensive to do, no matter how well planned in advance, surprises pop up…
• Due to the typical construction of the base walls & floors, there is always the possibility that such houses will have damp & mold issues.

Our pivot moment

This is why we decided to build new houses to be on top of the construction quality, time to deliver, strong cost control and no mold issues. All our mid & large size bungalows will have a metal frame at its core and the outside will be cladded with a fire-retardant material for complete safety.

During this whole project, we were assisted by my good friend, Bob Sørensen. Bob lives in Dubai & in The Netherlands. He supports us and our clients as an advisor for real estate and investment matters.
